Businesses- We MUST stop going to the big chain stores. The reason why so many small businesses are struggling and big corporations are taking over is because the lack of support. If we pay more in small businesses the money would circulate locally. If we are able to sustain small businesses they would be able to compete against big corporations on prices.

Farmers- We have so many farmers who are struggling to survive in this current economy. The fruits and vegetables profits go to large corporations while farmers make pennies. We need to start doing more "shares" of meat, vegetables, fruits, milk, eggs etc. Keeping the money again locally. I can tell you there is a farmer for just about any produce you want.

Trade Jobs- Many of us grew up being told that College was the only way to make it in the world. Education is so very important but Trade Schools are too! We need more electricians, plumbers, and mechanics. We need to start helping raise funds for those who want to learn but may not be able to go due to costs. Community funded people could come back to the community and start individual or group companies. Cars, homes, refrigerators and more could last longer.

HealthCare- There are alternatives I have and many else have found that we can try to use. First of course there are many non profits, those who give our free HIV tests, Pregnancy tests, Covid tests etc. There are traveling free clinics, and as of recently I have found healthcare options that are on sliding scales and memberships to pay directly the doctors instead of big insurance corporations. Why pay big pharma when we had local efforts? Especially those of us in rural communities who struggle already.

Disabilities- WE MUST acknowledge that this country highly ignores people with disabilities. Many struggle to find work, find proper housing and lose many benefits when they marry. We must fight more for these communities, fund programs when we can.

Transit- There are many times that people need help by going to appointments, going to the food pantry, getting food for pets or children or getting dropped off for job interviews. If we can work together and create a safety net and fund the gas for people to help locally we could do more. We also need to push for more rural transit.

Local Politics- School Board, local Board of Supervisors, Town Hall Meetings DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE GOING!!! We must start getting more people going to see what is happening in our communities. We must make sure these people are also being transparent with us on times, dates, discussions etc.

Groceries- WE MUST REMOVE THE STIGMA that food pantries are only for poor people. This past November shows how we as a community can come together. But not just for the holidays, every day. If we all work today, financially donate to food pantries instead of expensive grocery stores, food and money would stretch better. Another unmeasured impact: When grocery stores sell their nearly expired food to food banks, less goes to landfills.

Death of Community-People are nowhere near as close as they used to be. Many have become divided not just by politics but the separation of morals. People gather with those who have similar ideas and from that education and community break. Many are unable to share burdens either due to being ridiculed or too many taught "do it yourself, pull yourself up by your bootstraps" We MUST work on coming together. The idea of complete individualism and outright lack of some unity is having us lose so much.

To highlight local organizations that may have not been seen as much.

To also highlight the bad stuff happening locally from organizations and politicians.

Connecting with Food Pantries to make sure people are at least not going hungry. No One, immigrant or resident should struggle with food.

Have First Aid Supplies in English & other languages: Plan B, Birth Control, Narcan, Pregnancy Tests, Covid Tests, Testing strips etc.
